We are about to start our first day of classes here at the University of Florence. We had orientation yesterday and went around the facility to see where the rest of the facilities that belong to FUA were located. On our way to that I stopped to get a Gelato which without a doubt are amazing and if you ever get a chance should definitely try one. A gelato is pretty much ice cream but this one taste different and better. It also melts faster so you have to eat it quickly. We all got together after class and went to the market to stock up at the market and purchase some of their fresh goods. At night we went out to Scalda Pizza which was about to blocks away from our apartment which was located in Via Maggio and bought ourselves a pizza and a bottle of vine to go with it. Wine is very popular here in Italy with just about any dish. I am not used to drinking wine as frequently as they do here in Italy but it will be something I will have to adapt to in the 3 weeks I'm here. Coke is not really drank here they have it but its not as popular. There is a seven hour difference between Italy and the U.S.
