Today in class we talked about the Italian Art.  I must say that a lot of times there are so many things in history but without being in the place they occurred we don't have a clear understanding of what might of happen at certain time. Back in the United States we hear the name of the Ninja Turtles and right away we think of the great artist of the Italian Art who may of painted or created some wonderful statues. The Duomo located in Florence was a piece of work that was completed Brunelleschi that at the time was hired by the Medici family to complete the Dome. Brunelleschi was a very skilled architect and engineering took the role of getting things done at the time. A lot of the history is left unheard until you come to the place it happen that you start hearing about it.  Also we discussed how during 15th century after the death of Giovanni Cossa his son Cosimo came in charge and then the Albizzi were waiting for him at the palace and which them took him to a cell named the barberia. Walking around Florence and seeing this monuments after studying about its history makes it more meaningful because you actually have more of a background of what occurred at the time.
